Sustainability as a Student Mural

How can you be more eco-friendly as a student? Can Pigeons help students feel more uplifted by the idea of being more eco-conscious? I answered both these questions as I completed this project. This was based on a Live Brief hosted by Nottingham Trent University for a mural in Boots Library, with the aim of bringing the outside in and bringing awareness to sustainability.

I took this brief and made it my own, taking a few detours to complete some editorial illustrations, and infused my wit into a mural design that shows students the fun side of considering their carbon footprints.

As a side quest, I illustrated for an article in the Leftlion about the re-opening of the organisation ‘The Sherwood Exchange’, a weekly food swapping event. Seeing my work in their magazine made me feel so proud!
